Our Story

Manuel Antonio Tours was founded with one simple mission: to share the extraordinary biodiversity of Manuel Antonio National Park with visitors from around the world — in the most authentic, responsible, and memorable way possible.

With 7+ years of professional guiding experience in Manuel Antonio and the surrounding Quepos region, our guides have developed an unmatched understanding of this ecosystem. We know where the sloths sleep, which trees the white-faced monkeys prefer in the dry season, and the exact spots where scarlet macaws gather at dusk.

This deep local knowledge translates into results: our guests consistently enjoy an 80–90% wildlife sighting rate — far above the average for unguided park visits.

ICT Certified Guides

We are proud to hold certification from the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) — Costa Rica's national tourism board. ICT certification requires extensive training in biology, ecology, first aid, visitor management, and environmental ethics. It is the gold standard for professional tour guides in Costa Rica.

Our guides continuously update their knowledge through workshops, conservation programs, and collaboration with researchers working in Manuel Antonio. When you tour with us, you're getting the most current, accurate, and scientifically grounded information about the park's incredible wildlife.
