There is no view of Manuel Antonio more spectacular than the aerial perspective you get from parasailing 150 meters above the Pacific Ocean. The entire park unfolds below you — the forested peninsula jutting into the brilliant blue sea, the crescent beaches within the park boundaries, the dense rainforest canopy stretching inland, and the sparkling Pacific reaching to the horizon in every direction.

Our Manuel Antonio parasailing experience is a boat-based parasail operation departing from the Quepos Marina. There's no jumping, no running off a cliff — you take off and land directly from the boat deck in a smooth, effortless process that even complete novices find instantly comfortable. Within moments, you're soaring silently above the Pacific, the noise of the ocean and the boat fading away as you rise into a world of perfect blue sky and tropical coastline.

The panorama from parasailing altitude is extraordinary. You can see the distinctive peninsula shape of Manuel Antonio National Park with its jungle-covered hills and the white sand beaches within. The Quepos Marina and town are visible to the north. The offshore islands that form part of the national park's marine zone are below you. On clear days, the distant mountains of the Talamanca range are visible on the horizon.

Parasailing is suitable for virtually everyone — there's no physical exertion required during the flight, just the ability to hold on to the harness straps and enjoy the view. Tandem flights allow two people to fly together, making this an incredible shared experience for couples, friends, or parent-and-child combinations.

The flight lasts 15–20 minutes from launch to landing — short enough to be comfortable for nervous flyers, long enough to fully absorb the extraordinary view and feel completely at peace soaring over one of the world's great national parks.
